Maintaining and servicing commercial stoves is crucial for extending their lifespan, ensuring stable performance, and guaranteeing safety. Here are some specific methods:

Daily Maintenance

Clean the stove surface: After each use, while the stove is still warm, wipe the surface with a damp cloth or stainless steel cleaner to remove grease, stains, and food residue. Avoid using rough cleaning tools to scratch the surface, which may damage the stainless steel material. For stubborn stains, use a dedicated stove cleaner.

Clean the burner heads and caps: Regularly (generally 1-2 times a week), remove the burner heads and caps and use a brush or fine needle to clean the burner holes to prevent clogging. If grease accumulates, soak the burner heads and caps in warm water with an appropriate amount of detergent, then dry and reinstall them.

Check gas pipes and valves: Before and after business hours each day, check for gas leaks in the gas pipes. Soap water can be applied to the pipe joints to observe whether bubbles are generated. If bubbles are found, it indicates a leak, and the gas valve should be immediately closed, and a professional should be contacted for repair. At the same time, check whether the valve switch is flexible. If there is any jamming or abnormality, repair or replace it in time.

Clean the ventilation system: The range hood and ventilation ducts above the stove should be cleaned regularly, generally cleaning the filter every 1-2 weeks and thoroughly cleaning the ventilation ducts monthly to ensure good ventilation and prevent grease buildup from causing fires.

Regular Maintenance

Professional gas system inspection: Every 3-6 months, invite a professional gas repairman to conduct a comprehensive inspection of the stove's gas system, including gas pipes, valves, pressure gauges, etc., to ensure the gas system is safe and reliable. At the same time, clean and adjust the gas nozzles to ensure sufficient gas combustion and improve thermal efficiency.

Check the electrical system (induction cooktops): For induction cooktops, regularly (generally every 3-6 months) check the electrical system, including power cords, plugs, sockets, and control circuit boards. Check for aging, damage, or short circuits in the wires. If there are any problems, replace or repair them in time. At the same time, clean the cooling fan inside the induction cooktop to ensure good heat dissipation and prevent damage to components due to overheating.

Maintain the stove's insulation layer: Check the stove's insulation layer at least once a year to ensure it is intact. If any damage or detachment is found, repair or replace it in time to reduce heat loss and improve energy efficiency.

Replace wearing parts: According to the stove's usage frequency and actual situation, regularly replace wearing parts, such as igniters, thermocouples, and seals. Generally, the lifespan of igniters and thermocouples is 1-2 years. If seals are aged or damaged, they should be replaced immediately to ensure the normal use and safety of the stove.
